Painting is one of my passions, like a voice deep within me, a fire consuming my life. As I see the world evolving around me, I need to interact, interface and interpret it. I feel this need to express my visions and my dreams. Marking down the signs of my own language into strokes, rhythms and colors. Telling a story through the gradual process of the painting. Always going further into my own abstract reality. Always going faster intoxicated by the vastness of the abyss.
Superposition or duality of the inner and outer worlds. I want to go beyond my own expression. In my attempt , perhaps in vain, of understanding the secret of life itself, of capturing its vaporous and fleeing essence.
Initially inspired by the human body as well as nature’s landscapes, my work became more and more expressionistic and abstract. Trees became dancers. Fire, water and galaxies became gestural, elemental, patterns in motion in a blend of vibrant and primary colors. Colorful, atmospheric and liquid inner landscapes exploding onto my canvases like a geyser. Creating out of sheer joy and delight, blessed by a flowing inspiration. The desire to be fully alive and celebrate it in the process of my art.
